Still alive and crafting!

I can not even believe I haven't posted anything on this blog in the last 9 months. I promise you, I've been using my Cricut. I've made greeting cards, tags, confetti and all sorts of fun stuff!  In fact, I've used it 3 times this week! Here are a couple things I used it for in the last few months:

I'm going to be using it more in the near future because we're planning another Halloween party this year at Uncle Larry's!! Woo hoo! I have some really good ideas. Let's see if I can bring them to fruition. I have no idea how, but this years Halloween party needs to be more frightening. I'm good with 'cute'. I don't know about frightening. Unless they want to have the party in my bedroom first thing in the morning. This year has been full of ups and downs so I really need to completely bury myself in this project and have a fantabulous outcome!!!

I'm trying to think of how to use things I already have to make props and decorations. I have a million tons of cardboard that I just know will prove useful.  I also have toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, a boat load of string, more than a dozen empty wine bottles, mason jars, empty coffee cans, sticks and twigs and a super nifty Cricut.  What more could a girl ask for....

Although I have a ton of ideas it would be most helpful if I was given a few more, you know, just in case. I won't have much money to spend so I'll be putting my frugal-tise to the test! And don't look at me like that. That is totally a word.

Thanks for reading!! I'm off to brainstorm...

(And p.s....I totally had a dream about toilet paper rolls, tree bark, twine and cotton balls last night. It's a beginning!)
